This is the cleanser that made ANUA one of the most-searched K-beauty brands in the world — and it earned that by doing something most pore cleansers don't: it gets into your pores and clears them out without leaving your skin feeling stripped, tight, or like it needs to immediately compensate by producing more oil.
The formula starts with 33% Houttuynia Cordata (Heartleaf) Water as its base - not regular water. That's ANUA's signature move across the Heartleaf line: replace the base itself with an active botanical, so the functional ingredient concentration starts before anything else is added. On top of that sits Houttuynia Cordata Powder at 3,000ppm for direct pore-level cleansing, and Quercetinol™, ANUA's patented antioxidant compound
extracted from Heartleaf, which calms the irritation that cleansing - especially with BHA — can cause in sensitized or acne-prone skin.
Sebum control comes from two sources. Anti-Sebum P - ANUA's proprietary blend of four plant extracts (Pine Leaf, Elm Root, Evening Primrose Flower, and Kudzu Root) — works on sebum production at the pore level. Betaine Salicylate provides gentle BHA-type exfoliation to clear buildup inside the pore without the irritation profile of free salicylic acid. Seven forms of Hyaluronic Acid sit underneath all of it to make sure the hydration balance isn't disrupted during the process.
In ANUA's clinical testing, pores were cleaned by 99.5% after one use, acne severity was reduced by 17.46% after two weeks, and sebum was reduced by 49.98% after two weeks.* The lather is dense and creamy - it rinses completely clean and leaves skin feeling soft, not squeaky.
